On the National Day of Mourning for the victims of the Bondi Beach terrorist attack

The Association of Somaliland Community in Australia joins all Australians in condemning the horrific terrorist attack at Bondi Beach. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this senseless act of violence.

As a community shaped by hardship and resilience, we understand the deep cost of violence and the importance of standing for peace. We honour the bravery of the Australian heroes who risked their lives to protect others, and we stand shoulder to shoulder with the Jewish community as part of our shared Australian family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the Jewish community at this time of grief. We believe that compassion, unity, and mutual respect make Australia stronger, and we stand together against hatred in all its forms.
